The KWM needs YOU!
Please let us know how you can help! Here are descriptions of our volunteer jobs.
Traffic Directing (11 am - 2pm). Direct the vendors to their allotted unload areas in Marina Park, and then direct to a place to park their vehicles (Stefeny will have the new parking plans); Directing Customers to parking in Kirkland; Ensuring a clear path at all times for boats to reach the boat launch place. These volunteers must please wear Orange Traffic vests (will be provided).
Market setup (1pm 2pm)
Set up canopies, tables, chairs, banners and garbage cans; put out informational signs; arrange market info booth display; pull out carts and hand trucks from the shed and have in place for off load in 3 locations.
Market Information Booth (2pm- 7pm). Be the face of the market to our shoppers and visitors,
answer questions; take emails for our Fresh Sheet newsletter; redeem coupons for a FREE KWM
market bag; sell KWM bags for $2 & other miscellaneous jobs.
Special Events (TBA): For Sprouts StoryTime, Chef Demonstration and other special events during the Market. Set up,organize event, clean up.
Take Down (7pm 8:30pm). Take down canopies, tables, chairs and store in KWM shed; remove wheels from carts before storing in Shed; roll away the garbage cans; help vendors load up; bring in informational signs; and take down market info display; check park for litter.

The mission of the KWM is to facilitate a weekly event, May through October, providing an opportunity for the local WA farmers, artists, and
vendors to sell their goods, in addition to fostering strong community between business, citizen and neighborhoods in downtown Kirkland.
The KWM will hold various events throughout the season to encourage vendor and community participation.
